Twana Noori Mahmoud

Twana Noori Mahmoud graduated from the Erbil Sports Institute in the 2015-2016 academic year, earning a diploma, and later obtained his bachelor’s degree from Salahaddin University-Erbil, College of Education and Physical Sports Sciences, in the 2019-2020 academic year. He began his professional career as a teacher at Rozak Typical School (English system) and later taught at Roshnbiry Private School.

Throughout his career, Twana has distinguished himself as a football referee with over 10 years of experience officiating in Kurdistan and Iraqi leagues, establishing himself as one of the most prominent referees in Erbil. He also serves as the manager of the Italian Sports Academy, where he has mentored numerous students and sports enthusiasts.

In addition to his teaching and refereeing career, Twana has completed various professional development programs and received certifications in areas such as human development, basketball refereeing, and participation in international marathons. Twana is currently a PE teacher at the (Barzani Namir) Educational Complex.
