Today, we commemorate the most glorious uprising in the history of a nation—one that, through blood and will, shattered the chains of decades of suffering. On March 5, 1991, the Kurdish people rose from the threshold of liberation like an unbroken spirit, toppling the throne of the Baathist dictatorship. That day was not merely a rebellion; it was Kurdistan’s rebirth following the horrors of Anfal and chemical warfare.
Hail to those noble hands that broke the oppressor's power and cleansed the sacred soil of Kurdistan from the filth of oppression. This uprising is an eternal lesson—when the Kurdish people stand united and with one voice, the mountains become their allies, and no power on earth can prevent their freedom.
