Electronic Project for a Number of Schools Announced

Today, Monday, April 28, 2025, with the presence of Mr. “Alan Hama Saeed Salih”, Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government; Mr. “Safeen Dizayee”, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations; Mr. “Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Zahiri”, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Iraq; Dr. “Waleed Al-Ali”, Secretary-General of the project; as well as advisors from the Ministry of Education, the General Director of Education in Erbil, education directors from various districts, supervisors, and Mr. “Dilshad jafar” principal of the Barzani Namir Educational Complex, along with the teachers involved in the digital school project — an announcement ceremony was held.

During the ceremony, the (Digital School) project was officially launched at the conference hall of the (Barzani Namir Educational Complex).
This project emphasizes advancing science and education through the framework of electronic learning. As part of the initiative, (63) schools under the jurisdiction of the General Directorate of Education in Erbil have successfully participated. Additionally, necessary electronic equipment and the setup of digital classrooms have been provided.
This effort was made possible with the support of the UAE Consulate and the backing of the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
