Educational Developments in Jordan

A Delegation from the Jordanian Ministry of Education and Higher Education Visits Barzani Namir Educational Complex
On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, a distinguished delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including Mr. “Fouad Al-Majali”, Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, conducted an official visit to the Barzani Namir Educational Complex. The delegation was accompanied by a representative team from the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government, led by “Ms. Hamdiya”, Head of Communications and Public Relations. The visitors were warmly welcomed by the Principal of the Complex, Mr. “Dilshad Jafar Mahmoud”, along with the administrative supervisor and the principals of the kindergarten and primary divisions.
During the visit, a formal meeting was held in which the parties engaged in discussions concerning the educational landscape and pedagogical developments in Jordan.
Following the meeting, a seminar was held in the Complex’s conference hall, presented by Mr. “Muhannad Al-Khatib”, advisor and official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education. The event was attended by a significant number of students from Barzani Namir Educational Complex, as well as students from the English System of Hawler Secondary School, Rozhak Secondary School, and several faculty members. The seminar provided detailed information on the procedures for student admissions, outlined opportunities at Jordanian universities, and clarified the application process for prospective students interested in pursuing higher education in Jordan
